In the midst of life
we age
and become silver
and gold
mayhap, wisdom visits
occasionally.
Often, we are left alone
to question,
wonder
and review how life was lived
and will be lived to the end
by us and those we love
and who profess to love us.
True emptiness may be in not knowing these
things in
the heart.
