NEWS!

Hello there to All and to Myself,

I have reinstated the blog, added a new title which is more apt and am learning new web techniques
in a self-study sort of way.

The use of the blog should reflect this new change:
For the next year, July 2010 to June 2011, I will blog on how play, art and healing affect
my life and the lives of others.  I will also seek to find ways in which the absence of art and
play prevents, prohibits or restrains healing.

more challenges

Using the 'web' - I am learning new skills, improving others by talking
to folks in the same wave length and even getting some admirers of my
writing.
I have noticed several books which have been printed as a result of
blogging. I can see how it helps.
Blogging organizes my day.
It organizes my thoughts.
Then, I get to collaborate with others in virtual time and real time.
Plus, I have to know more about computers and the web so I gotta
study.

Meditation:
there is a season for everything
if this is not yours;
be patient.
It will come.
Not in the wrapping you intended,
the bows will be different and the invitations and envelopes may not
match - but, it will come.

rain

Taking things for granted:

the children of my family do not sleep near lions,

rain with acid, pollution and TVA ash arsenic is still rain,

water is over, around and through us and generally, most

people only realize its absence.

Meditation for the day: drink water slowly and allow
it to tickle your tongue and think of the body being
refreshed while also nurturing the mind to think
and grasp ideas.

bathe with the cloth and soap and watch the flakes of
dry peeling skin fall to the floor or countertop and imagine
them in crystalline form remaking the limestone bluffs

cook with liquid vegetable broth from peppers, onion
and garlic and notice how the rice floats in the juices
first in the bowl quietly and then within you as sustenance.
