preparation for a dreamweaver class

dreams
come and go
sometimes, we clutch them desperately.
At others, we can become cynical and embittered; thinking,
perhaps, we will not live enough time to dream
another great vision.

dreams are
views
perspectives
the faces of those before us
the potential of faces of those to come
the unrealized possibilities that are within and
without.

today, it was forecast
we may know or may know more soon
about how and when meteors strike our planet
and can prepare folks for safety
as we mostly did in the tsunami.

dreams are impossible
else they would not be dreams.

to view the impossible
takes an imagination,
an understanding of history
and a belief in the abilities of
humankind to search for the good,
to create diversions and to get bored
and look for something to do or a new
way of doing the same ole same ole.

our limits are constrained only by
the lack of imagination
because we fear too often
or lack the ability to work for
what we want
and know we are able to do.
