crocheted toddler dresses

no pics yet.

I have switched over to finish a crocheted mohair scarf in beautiful flavors of purple as
I ponder the use of crocheted tops for dresses for little gals and big gals. The look, especially
in primary colors, goes pow!

I am trying to think about "loud" colors on children versus subdued and/or pastel as well as
for adults.

My goal is to use what I have and supplement without going "whole hog" and buying fabric
etc. etc. So far, it's working but I think once I start the cutting process on the fabrics - it
will go better. Also, I am thinking about trying some different swatches to have on hand
for pockets. Or, perhaps, making pockets alone for folks to embroider on clothing which
would cover little gals, big gals and old, spry gals like myself!! I do have a vest I am
renovating with pockets. Aha! Maybe, I have made an artistic connection. We shall see.

I visited Krazy Knits in Dalton, Georgia yesterday and got a year's stash in yarn. Great shop
with lots of hand-dyed yarns. I stayed with mohair, cotton and soy for small projects.
